Dr. Mark Gaspar (PhD) is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. His research examines health inequalities affecting sexual and gender minorities, with concentrations in mental health, HIV, HPV-related cancers, and blood donation policy. Mark worked on the Engage mental health qualitative sub-study in Toronto as part of his postdoctoral research.

Jann Tomaro (MA) is a doctoral student in counselling psychology at McGill University. Her research focuses on underrepresented populations, with particular interest in improving mental health care provision for underserved communities.

Julie Prud’homme (MSc) is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Victoria. Her research focuses on mental health risk and resilience in LGBTQ2+ young adults, notably on understanding why LGBTQ2+ young adults engage in risky health behaviours and how to bolster resilience and prevent these behaviours from occurring.

Dr. Daniel Grace (PhD) is an Assistant Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto and an Affiliated Researcher at the Community-Based Research Centre. Daniel is a PI on the Engage Study and Mark Gaspar’s postdoctoral supervisor. He is the Canada Research Chair in Sexual and Gender Minority Health.
Dr. Ada L. Sinacore (PhD) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, McGill University and Program Director of the Human Relations and Family Life Education Program. She is the director of The Social Justice Research Lab and is supervising Jann Tomaro in her doctoral research.
Dr. Brianna J. Turner (PhD, R.Psych) is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Victoria and a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia. Brianna is the director of the Risky Behaviour Lab and a recipient of a 2019 Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Scholar Award. She is supervising Julie Prud’homme in her doctoral research.
